The £689 million UK electronics repair industry is evolving rapidly, with independent shops taking on complex repairs (consoles, laptops) while navigating stringent new Right-to-Repair regulations and HMRC VAT compliance. Legacy software was bug-ridden, overly complex, and failed to address UK-specific administrative friction.

We built SlickCell, a UK-first SaaS repair platform designed for speed and simplicity. We stripped away legacy clutter to build one system that links inventory, ticketing and compliance in one frictionless interface.

Automated UK Compliance Engine: Built-in HMRC VAT structures and compliant invoicing protocols that completely relieve tax and regulatory administrative stress.
Frictionless UX/POS Design: An interface meticulously designed to allow staff to create tickets, track statuses, and process sales with almost zero required training.
Warranty Lifecycle: A module to track, manage and resolve customer warranties from the original repair ticket.

Front end: A hyper-streamlined UX built with React, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS for web POS terminals, and React Native for mobile inventory management on iOS and Android.
Back end: A fast, unified Node.js backend executing complex operations that tightly bind parts databases to active repair tickets instantly.
Data: MongoDB utilized for its flexibility in managing diverse product SKUs, varied repair states, and dynamic warranty lifecycles without rigid schema constraints.
Infrastructure: Highly scalable SaaS infrastructure built to handle multi-tenant data securely, ensuring isolated environments for each independent shop's financial data.
